Some more rough animation from this week, with more to come over the weekend (hopefully).

I'm really liking working with the lime green lines on black background. I started doing it out of necessity because I needed to see the lines over the low-lit bedroom renders, but I think it's really helping me out for animation in general.

Here's a shot of Nella, the riflewoman, scoping in to take down some evil space robot satellites.
I plan to speed it up and reduce the amount of head bob—it's cool, but I don't want to make the head movement look like it's motivated by the goggle snap.

I also animated Baz ejecting her rocket drills from her backpack! Well, at least, it's the animation sans the rocket drills...
Those will obviously be comped in separately later on, and I plan to give Baz more lateral movement around the screen while she spins.

Overall, I think this has a successful reintroduction to action animation for me, and I plan to do some more intense movements very soon. Stay posted!
